jv'scousins sez---- The Republican party decided to suspend its policy of having Congressmen under indictment resign from House posts, specifically so Tom DeLay can continue as House Majority Whip after Texas indicts him for buying elections to the state house. Several of his top aides already have been indicted, with one facing a 99 year sentence.
Has anyone noticed how the red state blue state thing is really just a map of the Civil War turned upside down? The South & Interior West territories verses the Lincoln Republican states -- and the (at the time) brand new state of California.
It feels like the 2nd Civil War has begun . . .
we are a divided nation, and the extreme of a divided nation is civil war, tht much is true.
