There are some sites on the internet that you just wish that you never saw or better yet, never knew of their existence...this is one. holy crap.
Very useful very cool. FILExt is a detailed database of file extensions and programs that use them. So, basically if you have a file and not sure what it does, or where it's from, or what to open it with...just type in the file extension eg. .txt and presto.
